Annotate PDF FAQs

How can I annotate a PDF online?

Open your PDF in the editor, select a page and choose a highlight, drawing or note tool. Review the marks and export a copy. Check the output because export options can change interactive annotations and other PDF features.

Are annotations the same as redaction?

No. Highlights, drawings or text placed over a page do not securely remove underlying information. Do not use this tool to redact confidential content.

Are my documents uploaded?

Local PDF tools process documents in your browser. Choosing a file alone does not upload it. Server conversion sends the chosen file only after you confirm. Account storage is optional: Save to account uploads that result or draft to your private library.

Are my PDFs encrypted?

The website uses HTTPS to encrypt the connection. Local processing does not automatically password-encrypt your input or downloaded PDF. No website can guarantee 100% security; use a trusted device and keep your original files.

How do I save a PDF on an iPhone?

After creating the result, use Save / Share and choose Save to Files. If a download opens a preview, use the browser’s Share control to save a copy.
