Split PDF FAQs

What is the difference between splitting and extracting?

Splitting divides a document into separate files. Extracting keeps selected pages together in a new PDF. Choose according to whether you need several parts or one selection.

Can I save just a few pages together?

Select the required page thumbnails and use the extraction option. Review the resulting PDF to make sure it includes only the intended pages.

How do I break up PDF file pages?

Open the document in the page organizer and choose Split PDF. Set the cut points or choose separate pages, prepare the output and download the ZIP. Open the archive and check the resulting files.

How do I save only a few pages together?

Select those page thumbnails and choose Extract selected. That creates one PDF containing the selection. Separate PDFs (ZIP) exports each chosen page separately.

Are my documents uploaded?

Local PDF tools process documents in your browser. Choosing a file alone does not upload it. Server conversion sends the chosen file only after you confirm. Account storage is optional: Save to account uploads that result or draft to your private library.

Are my PDFs encrypted?

The website uses HTTPS to encrypt the connection. Local processing does not automatically password-encrypt your input or downloaded PDF. No website can guarantee 100% security; use a trusted device and keep your original files.

How do I save a PDF on an iPhone?

After creating the result, use Save / Share and choose Save to Files. If a download opens a preview, use the browser’s Share control to save a copy.
