Combining files is only half the job. A useful final PDF also needs the right page order, no accidental duplicates and a clear filename. A visual organizer makes those checks easier than typing page-number ranges.

Open the first document

Open Merge PDF and choose your first file. The Pages tab displays a thumbnail for each page. Use Add PDFs / Merge to append another document. You can also drop additional PDFs into the loaded editor.

Work on copies if your documents contain digital signatures. Editing the document can invalidate an existing signature, and some interactive content may not survive export.

Arrange the pages visually

Drag a thumbnail’s grip to move a page. On a phone, use the touch grip; if that is awkward, open the page in Edit and use Move earlier or Move later in Properties. Rotate sideways pages using their individual rotation control.

Select several thumbnails to apply a batch action. Delete removes them from the working document; it does not overwrite the original file on your device. Undo can restore a recent change while you remain in the editor.

Remove duplicates carefully

Similar-looking pages are not always duplicates. Check page titles, dates and content before removing one. The organizer deliberately keeps at least one page in the working document. To create a shorter separate file, select the required thumbnails and use Extract selected.

Export and inspect

Open the export centre, give the file a meaningful name and choose PDF document. Select all pages for the combined document, or selected pages for a subset. Prepare the download, then save it using the controls that appear.

Open the saved PDF once before sending it. Review the first and last pages, page order, rotations and any annotations. If you need individual files instead, choose Separate PDFs (ZIP). Each chosen page becomes a separate PDF inside the archive.

For later changes, return to the PDF editor with the saved document. Keep the original source files until the recipient has accepted the result.
