Preparing an edited PDF does not automatically place it in your iPhone’s Files app. The website first creates the document, then your browser handles the download or share action. Keeping those two steps separate helps when a file seems to have disappeared.
Prepare the result first
After editing in Filestation’s PDF studio, open Export PDF. Check the filename, selected pages and format, then tap Prepare download. Wait for the finished filename and download controls before leaving the page.
A PDF document produces one PDF. Separate PDFs and image exports can produce a ZIP archive instead. Check the extension if you expected a PDF but received an archive.
Save a copy you can find
Use Save / Share when your browser offers it, then choose Save to Files and select a folder. The available labels depend on your browser and iOS version. If a preview opens instead, use the browser’s share menu to save the document.
Choose a recognizable name such as application-documents.pdf. Open the Files app and check the folder you selected before closing the editing tab. If you use the browser’s download action, check its downloads list and configured download location.
If tapping download does nothing
- Wait until processing has finished and the saved-file controls appear.
- Try the Open file option if your browser blocks a direct download.
- Open Filestation in your normal browser when an in-app browser has limited download support.
- Keep the tab open while a large document is being prepared.
If the browser reloads because of memory pressure, unsaved edits may be lost. Try a smaller document or split a large PDF before editing.
Confirm the file is complete
Reopen the saved copy and check the number of pages, orientation and recent edits. This is especially useful when an earlier download has the same filename. Filestation processes its PDF tools locally, so keep a downloaded copy before closing or refreshing the workspace.
