RTF to PDF FAQs

How do I save an RTF file as a PDF?

Open RTF to PDF, choose a supported .rtf file and select the conversion mode. Local reading-copy conversion preserves text and paragraph breaks, but not original fonts, images or complex formatting. Review the PDF before downloading.

Will my rich text formatting stay the same?

Local conversion creates a reading copy rather than an exact layout match. When the optional server layout renderer is connected, it can render supported formatting after upload confirmation. Fonts and unsupported features can still differ.

Will the PDF look exactly like the original?

Preserves text and paragraph breaks. Fonts, images, embedded objects and complex formatting are not retained. The optional server renderer preserves supported document layout, subject to font and format compatibility.

Are my documents uploaded?

Local PDF tools process documents in your browser. Choosing a file alone does not upload it. Server conversion sends the chosen file only after you confirm. Account storage is optional: Save to account uploads that result or draft to your private library.

Are my PDFs encrypted?

The website uses HTTPS to encrypt the connection. Local processing does not automatically password-encrypt your input or downloaded PDF. No website can guarantee 100% security; use a trusted device and keep your original files.

How do I save a PDF on an iPhone?

After creating the result, use Save / Share and choose Save to Files. If a download opens a preview, use the browser’s Share control to save a copy.
