“Compress PDF” searches often hide a more specific need: meet an upload limit without making the document unreadable. Compression always depends on the contents. A text-heavy exported PDF behaves differently from a photographed scan.
How do I reduce PDF file size?
Open Compress PDF, choose the file and try content-preserving optimization first. If the result remains too large and the document is image-heavy, consider image compression. Keep the original and inspect the result before submitting it.
Can I compress PDF without losing quality?
Some structural optimization can reduce overhead without visibly changing pages, but large reductions usually require a trade-off. No. Compression changes representation, not the intended page selection. If you only need certain pages, use Extract PDF pages. Never remove required pages merely to meet a limit.
Does a smaller PDF upload faster?
