A PDF workspace helps you change and export a document. Storage keeps a copy for later access. FileStation provides local PDF tools and optional account storage; choose where your final copy belongs based on your own backup, access and collaboration requirements.
A simple handoff
Download the source from your existing storage to your device. Open the relevant FileStation tool, prepare the document and export it. Upload the checked result to your chosen storage using that service’s own interface. This is a manual workflow, not a built-in Drive or Office integration.
When you need editable text
PDF to Word extracts selectable text into a DOCX file. It does not recreate the original page design, images or table layout, and scanned pages need a separate OCR step. Open the exported DOCX in a compatible word processor and check the reading order.
Avoid version confusion
Keep the original and label the exported version with a date or revision. Tell collaborators which file is the current copy. Check the destination’s permissions before uploading client or personal documents.
